Privacy policy.

Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask and we will fix the wording.

01 · who we are

Onsite Round runs in-person technical working sessions in San Francisco on behalf of companies that are hiring. This policy covers this website and the sessions we run. For candidates, the candidate notice is the shorter, specific version.

02 · what we collect

On this website: nothing personal. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no cookies set by us. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and capacity, kept for 30 days.

When you email us: your name, email address, and whatever you write. We keep correspondence for as long as we work together and for three years afterwards.

From client companies: the names and work contact details of the people we deal with, the details of the roles we are calibrated for, and scheduling information about candidates.

From candidates: name, the role, the outcome of the identity check (confirmed or not, never a copy of the document), the examiner's notes, the code produced in the session, and the report. Nothing is recorded in audio or video.

03 · how we use it

To schedule and run sessions, to write and deliver reports to the client company that requested them, to invoice, and to answer questions. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use candidate information to train anything.

04 · who sees it

The examiner who runs the session, the person who runs the firm, and the client company that requested the session. Our service providers (cloud storage, email, applicant tracking integrations) process data on our behalf under their own terms and do not use it for their own purposes. We disclose information when the law requires it.

05 · how long we keep it

Session records (report, notes, code) are kept for 12 months from the session date, then deleted. A client can request earlier deletion. Business correspondence and invoices are kept as described above and as tax law requires.

06 · your rights

Anyone can ask what we hold about them, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, which we honor for everyone. Write to hello@onsiteround.com. We respond within 30 days, usually much faster.

One limit: a candidate's report belongs to the client company that commissioned it. We will confirm to a candidate that a report exists and what categories of information it contains, and we will delete it on request after the client's retention period, but the report itself is released by the client.

07 · changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and current clients hear about it by email first.
