04 · terms
- Percentages apply to the session price first, then flat fees are added. A Saturday session on 20 hours notice is $2,000 plus $1,000 plus $750, so $3,750.
- No-show or cancellation with under 24 hours notice bills at 50 percent. On retainer that is half a session.
- Rescheduling with 24 hours notice or more: the first one is free, then $250.
- Onboarding is due at signing. Sessions are billed net 15. A card on file covers surcharges.
- Rates are reviewed once a year. Your agreement is price-protected for 12 months from signing, in writing.
05 · questions about pricing
- Why is the first candidate free?
- Because the report sells itself or it does not. One free session per company, on the condition that the person who owns the hiring decision joins the debrief live.
- Is there a per-seat or platform fee?
- No. You pay for onboarding once and then for sessions. There is nothing to license.
- Can we start without a retainer?
- Yes. Most companies run two or three sessions at the per-candidate rate before deciding on a retainer.
- What happens if we exceed our retainer cap?
- Extra sessions bill at $1,750 each. If you exceed the cap two months running, we move you up a tier the following month and tell you first.
- What does onboarding actually buy?
- A calibrated round for one hiring team: we learn your stack, build a domain-shaped exercise, map your leveling rubric onto our five dimensions, and agree the two or three signals you most want probed. It takes one call and about a week.
- Do you negotiate?
- The rates are the rates. They are public so that nobody has to wonder whether the next company got a better deal.
- Why publish prices at all?
- You are buying evidence. It would be odd to hide the price of it.
